| Caption: This chart shows the number of Atlantic salmon smolts caught each week in downstream migrant traps operated by NOAA Fisheries in the lower Sheepscot River from April 13 to June 2 in 2001 and 2002. More smolts were captured in 2002 than 2001 (98 compared to 52), likely because only one trap was operated in 2001, whereas two were operated in 2002.
