You selected the area Coastal Tributaries North and the topic Map: 1C EPA Landcover/Landuse, Coastal Tribs N. Sub-basin |
This is a map of the 1992 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Landcover/Landuse in the Coastal Tributaries North sub-basin. These data are derived from a 1992 Landsat image and show that much of the sub-basin is coniferous forest. The western coastal plain is a flat area mostly covered by grasslands, farms and the coastal community of Manchester. Some patches of mixed conifer hardwood, grasslands, and herbaceous in the eastern portion are likely due to a combination of recent timber harvests, Central Belt Franciscan mélange geology, and other factors like rural development for home sites. Scale = 1:163,216 . | |||
