| Caption: The Shasta River rotary trap began sampling one day per week on 1/11/01. This chart shows the total catch for all species. This weekly sampling continued until 2/25/01, when we began trapping six days per week. Trapping ended on 7/7/01 due to low flows. The trap was fished for a total of 2,489.4 hours. A total of 2,874 steelhead, 357 coho and 262,555 Chinook were trapped. Data provided by the California Department of Fish and Game.
