Caption: This graph shows average daily water temperatures at four North Fork Battle Creek sites in 1998 were suitable at all locations for egg incubation and adult holding. Water temperatures at all locations appear to have been suitable for winter chinook egg incubation (prior to June 30), although the data are incomplete. Temperatures after September 15 also were cool enough for spring chinook eggs. Spring chinook adults would also have found holding temperatures suitable during the period of record. See Info Links for more information on temperature thresholds.
