| Caption: This chart shows daily minimum winter water temperatures in the upper West Branch of the Sheepscot River between October 2001 and May 2002. Minimum water temperatures drop below 3.8°C between December and March. Elliott (1991) found that juvenile Atlantic Salmon stop feeding when temperatures drop below this level.
