| Caption: This chart shows mean secchi disk transparencies measured in Sheepscot lakes during the period of 1975-1999. Mean transparency ranges from 1.6 to 4.6 meters in Sheepscot lakes and the lowest transparencies were measured in Travel Pond. The error bars show the standard error of measurements over the period. These data were collected as discrete samples through the Maine Volunteer Lake Monitoring Program and in some cases only, one sample was collected per year and sampling often happened between July and September.
