Fish: Wheatfield Pepperwood Creek 2001 by CDFG #2 |
|
Caption: California Department of Fish and Game electrofishing in September 2001 showed that Pepperwood Creek, tributary of the Wheatfield Fork Gualala River, had steelhead young of the year (0+) and yearlings (1+) and two year old fish, but roach were the dominant fish in the sample. The latter species is well adapted to warm water and thrives in reaches with elevated temperatures. Click on Info Links to read about sampling methodology.
