Fish: Electrofishing Upper Garcia below Mill/Pardaloe 1994 |
|
Caption: Charlotte Morrison, a biological consultant, sampled the upper Garcia River on the Maillard property not far below the convergence of where Mill Creek and Pardaloe Creek converge. Using electrofishing, she found that steelhead dominated the sample but two amphibian species were also present: the yellow-legged frog (YL Frog) and the rough-skinned newt. One Pacific lamprey larvae or ammocoetes was also captured. See InfoLinks for more information.
