Caption: California Department of Fish and Game staff electrofished the South Fork Garcia River to survey anadromous salmonids from 1987 to 1992. Coho salmon showed up in both 1987 and 1988 samples, but not thereafter, with the highest biomass in 1988 at 19.9 kilograms per hectare. Juvenile steelhead varied from a low of 16.4 kg/ha in 1988 to a high of 28.7 kg/ha in 1991.
