Habitat: Pool Depth Frequency Fleming Creek 2002 |
|
Caption: The chart above shows the results of an August 2002 Fleming Creek habitat typing survey as the frequency of pool depths. Pools deeper than three feet are preferred habitat for coho juveniles and older age steelhead, but only one measured was of this depth. While 43 pools were shallower than two feet, three units were between two and three feet deep. This is an impaired condition with regard to salmonid rearing. Data collected by Elizabeth Earthman and Jennifer Presnell of the Americorp Stewards program under the direction of the California Department of Fish and Game.
