This photo shows a cooperative tree planting restoration project organized by Trout Unlimited on the Bebe Ranch downstream of the North Fork Garcia on the mainstem. Americorp volunteers supplied part of the labor. March 1998.
Americorp Stewards volunteers take a break in Craig Bell's drift boat from tree planting. The boat was used for transport and volunteers would get out of the boat periodically to plant alder starts and willow sprigs on unstable or raw banks. Photo provided by Craig Bell.
Americorp volunteers take a break from their March 1996 river planting trip on the lower Garcia River. The steelhead was caught while fishing between planting spots and was legal to keep for the table at that time.
