The pool was eight feet deep with excellent cover both above and below the water and had the highest number of older age juvenile steelhead (2+ and 3+) of any pool surveyed. Pat Higgins moves to riparian overhang to help with age and size determinations with dozens of steelhead of different age classes schooling in the complex cover. Bend Hole above Conner Hole about one quarter mile below the North Fork Garcia.
