Caption:  This chart shows maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) for each site in the Coastal Tributaries South sub-basin with available data in the years 1996-2001. The MWAT did not exceed 16.8 degrees in any streams in the sub-basin during the years 1996-2001. Welsh et al. (2001) found that coho are not likely to persist where maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) exceeds 16.8°C, indicating that these streams have a suitable temperature regime for coho.
